McCurtaisn forward line finally stepped up a gear and gave their most impressive performance of the year as they racked up a big score. While the attack looked very strong their were some worrying signs in defence where a lacklustre display let Peares in for some easy scores, something managemnet whil have to rectify before the championship. As per usual midfield was dominant and with a quick supply into Kelleher and Cahir McHugh McCurtsin took Peareses to pieces, they were ably assisted by Peter Haughey in the half forward line. Best for McCurtains were Gerard Marren, Brendan O'Grady, Emmet McGarvey, Peter Haughey, Micheal Kelleher and Cahir McHugh |
